Texas Meadow Sedge

Pending NPSOT review

A Texas endemic for the drier ring and the pecan shade edge. Takes sun or shade, wet spring or dry August. It’s sold as a native shade-lawn sedge, so it’s one of the few things on this list that’s actually easy to buy. Fall plugs, like the other cool-season sedges — the point is roots in the ground before the first summer.

StatusA working first pass, being reconciled against NPSOT and USDA PLANTS. Corrections welcome at [email protected].
