Pending NPSOT reviewA matting groundcover for the gaps between the clumps. Takes ponding, takes drought, blooms for months, and it’s a larval host for buckeye and phaon crescent butterflies. It roots at every node, which should make it the easiest propagation job on the bench. It’s also everywhere around here — close to nine hundred local records on iNaturalist.
