Grass-Leaved Rush

Pending NPSOT review

The best-documented rush around us, with records one county over in nearly every direction — including a pond edge at Timberlake Field Station in Mills County that looks a lot like what we’re trying to build. Fine-textured, and it handles the flood-then-dry cycle. Slow from seed like most rushes, so plugs where we want cover early, surface-sown seed to fill in behind.

StatusA working first pass, being reconciled against NPSOT and USDA PLANTS. Corrections welcome at [email protected].
